| Maggie Nowinski’s Wish Tower installation includes a sculpture combining elements of a shanty-like temple and tower, along with experimental videos, audio and performance. The project is co-created and produced with sound and video artist Matt Waugh. As part of the installation, Nowinski’s collection of single match matchbooks are replaced with a collection of wishes solicited from friends and strangers through craigslist, email, and offered anonymously in a wish book in the gallery. |
